Today's Tip: Many of us travel to expand our sense of self. What better way to do that than to try something new while you're traveling? Try coming back knowing that you did something you weren't willing to try before. It will will give you a sense of accomplishment and make the trip memorable. Maybe it's zip-lining, scuba diving or even riding a camel. Get out there and try it!

In some parts of the Middle East, much as women should cover their shoulders and knees to be respectful, female travelers may also want to ask male companions to tip on their behalf when they're in more traditional, rural areas.
